Program Spotlight: Meeting the Urgent Needs of Families through Crisis Assistance.

The Family Community Resource Center understands that stability is not a luxury but a necessity. We are dedicated to serving the most vulnerable populations, particularly those who face the harsh realities of being unhoused or experiencing severe financial hardship.

Through our Crisis Assistance Services Program (CASP), we have taken concrete action to address and alleviate these hardships. CASP is our commitment to those in dire need, a program designed to provide swift and effective assistance to prevent further instability and aid in the journey towards long-term security

Thanks to the generous support of our community, CASP has been a lifeline for numerous families. Here are just a few ways in which your contributions have made a difference:

  • Emergency Shelter: When a safe place to sleep is out of reach, CASP has been there to fund hotel stays for families, ensuring they have immediate protection and a temporary home.
  • Essential Supplies: We’ve provided resources for vital household supplies and personal hygiene products, easing the burden on families struggling to afford basic necessities.
  • Transportation Aid: By assisting work, children to school, and families to important medical appointments.

  • Gift Cards: Contribute gift cards for household essentials, personal hygiene products, hotels, gas, and food, which empower families to manage their immediate needs with dignity.
  • Monetary Donations: We graciously accept checks made out to [Your Nonprofit’s Name], earmarked for CASP, to ensure funds are directly allocated to this critical program.

Contributing to CASP is easy and impactful. Here’s how you can help: 

Purchase a gift card from local retailers for groceries, fuel, or lodging. Write a check to the Family Community Resource Center with “CASP Donation”; in the memo line, and mail it to our address.

Visit our website’s donation page and select CASP as the program you wish to support with your gift.
