The Family Community Resource Center is committed to providing advocacy, outreach services, and education to families in need. We offer support and intervention for at-risk families to help avert potentially harmful or dangerous situations. To achieve our goals, we provide our clients with referrals to organizations specializing in family and child welfare. Our services include providing translation for Hispanic, non-English speaking families when communicating with partner agencies. All services are provided free of charge for ANYONE who needs help.
McLean County Health Department – COVID-19 Resource Page
The McLean County Health Department recommends for the public and all
businesses to follow the guidance of the Restore Illinois plan. We
thank our local businesses for their cooperation and the measures they
are taking to ensure the safety of their staff and patrons. We
recognize the hardships being faced by our community during this
pandemic, and we ask for everyone to do their part to help us continue
moving forward together.
Illinois Department of Children & Family Services (IDCFS)
IDCFS’s goal is to strengthen families and protect children by providing help and support to parents struggling to meet their children’s needs. FCRC was established in 2004 as the first family advocacy center in McLean county in an effort to assist families outside the formal child welfare system. Resources are also available for foster and adoptive parents—and for anyone who suspects incidents of abuse or inappropriate actions toward children.
